On Monday afternoon Florida picked up their 20th public verbal commitment of the 2012 recruiting cycle when three-star Clemmons (N.C.) West Forsyth defensive end/outside linebacker Alex McCalister pledged to the Gators.

After his announcement, he spoke about his decision.
