Senior cornerback Trey Brown has been a starter for the Bruins since the third game of his redshirt freshman season and has never looked back. Now he is a senior getting ready to embark on his final campaign in a UCLA uniform. BruinBLitz.com caught up with Brown the other day.

BruinBlitz.com:Trey you're a fifth year senior and about to start you're last season as a Bruin. Can you tell us a little about you're walk here at UCLA?

Brown: "It has been a great ride so far. The thing is I really feel like as an entire team and an entire unit we haven't done nothing yet and it's about that time. It is time for us to go out there and prove something.

"We need to go out and there and be one of the best teams in the conference and be one of the best teams in the nation.

"Since I've been here we have kind of gone through our ups and downs and stuff. There are no excuses this year not to put it all together. Everyone is out here working. With the combined offense, defense and special season it is going to be a wild season.

BruinBlitz.com: What have you guys done differently this off-season that you haven't done previously that lends you to think you are guys are going to make things happen this year?

Brown: "Really I can't say it is anything particular. We always worked hard each and every off-season, but the one thing that rates this off-season from all the others is just the camaraderie of the team and the work ethic that we put forth throughout the offseason is really going to have to pay off this season because we have a lot seniors who are going out here for the last time.

"A lot of veterans and a lot of leadership that we have for the young guys just have to follow. So with all that in mind and all that being said, there isn't nothing we shouldn't be able to do out there It is time put it all together.

"Enough is enough, especially for the Bruin fans. I know they're sick of seeing us at 7-6, and going 10-2 and not being at the top of the conference.

"Right now it is time for us to put it all together. For these Bruins out here on the field and those Bruins all around the country as well.
