A new era on North Broad Street

As OwlScoop.com first reported Friday, New York Giants assistant offensive line coach Matt Rhule, a former Temple assistant, will be named the Owls' new head football coach Monday.
The 37-year-old Rhule, who spent six season at Temple as an assistant coach and four as the Owls' offensive coordinator, will be introduced at a 2 p.m. press conference in the Fox-Gittis Room of the Liacouras Center that is open to the public.

Rhule, who was hired by New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin back in March, replaces Steve Addazio, who left Temple after two seasons to become the head coach at Boston College.
