Morehart commits
Connor Morehart, a defensive end from Governor Mifflin High School, verbally committed to Temple head coach Matt Rhule Wednesday.
Morehart, a 3-star recruit, becomes the fourth player from the 2014 class to commit to the Owls, joining St. Peter's Prep safety Shamir Bearfield and Gateway High School standouts Delvon Randall and Brenon Thrift.

Morehart, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound stronside defensive end, had offers from Rutgers and Massachusetts and was picking up recruiting interest from programs like Miami and Michigan State. He visited Temple Saturday to be part of the program's Junior Day and annual Cherry and White spring game.
